1. Healthcare That Doesn’t Rob You
Too many New Yorkers skip doctor visits because the system is a scam. PBMs (pharmacy benefit managers) take kickbacks, insurers deny care, and your premiums buy less every year. I will force total price transparency, cap abusive drug pricing, and push to end prior-authorization delays, so the savings go back to patients, not middlemen. You deserve a healthcare system that treats you like a human being, not a revenue stream.
2. Restore the SALT (State and Local Tax) Deduction: End Double Taxation
Washington is looting New York. They capped your State and Local Tax deduction, meaning you pay federal taxes on money New York State already took. That is double taxation. It’s theft. I will fight to repeal the cap that punishes the very people funding the country’s economic engine.
I will fight to fully restore SALT, so New Yorkers stop getting hit twice for living here.
3. Unlock Housing Supply for Renters and First-Time Buyers
Starter condos hit $1.5M while tens of thousands of apartments sit vacant or are kept off the rental market. I will tie federal housing funds and tax incentives to cracking down on ghost buildings, warehoused units, and long-term vacancies, so those apartments go back onto the market.
And for New Yorkers ready to buy, I will fight for a $25,000 refundable credit for first-time purchasers of co-ops and condos. More units means lower rents and a real path to owning a piece of New York instead of being locked out by artificial scarcity.
4. Make Essentials Affordable Again: If Anyone Is Stealing at Self-Checkout, It’s the Government
By the time food and essentials hit a Manhattan shelf it’s been taxed, tolled, and marked up five different ways. Groceries and essentials aren’t luxuries. Your grocery bill doubled not because of "corporate greed," but because Washington printed trillions of dollars it didn't have.
I will fight to cut federal tariffs and excise taxes that inflate the price of essential household goods, and I will push for an annual rebate/deduction mechanism tied to essential purchases, so you keep more of what you earn instead of subsidizing waste. Inflation is a tax; this is the tax cut.
5. Fix Federal Income Caps That Punish NYC Residents
You lose credits and deductions because federal phaseouts hit you on paper, even when you are not living rich here. I will raise key thresholds for high-cost cities and index major benefit phaseouts to cost of living, so the system reflects reality instead of pretending New York is Cleveland. That means thousands back in your pocket and a federal system that finally recognizes how New York actually works.
6. Make Washington Pay for the Migrant Crisis
Washington failed at border and asylum management, but New York taxpayers are being forced to absorb the costs. That ends now. I will fight for full federal reimbursement for NYC’s documented emergency spending and require transparent federal accounting so costs aren’t buried and dumped on local services. New Yorkers should not face cuts, higher taxes, and worse quality of life because Washington refused to do its job.
7. Zero Fees for Small Businesses: Unleash the Hustle
Bodegas, food carts, salons, galleries, and small firms in NY-12 drown in fines, forms, and junk fees. I will work to eliminate or cap federal fees and penalties on small businesses, simplify compliance rules, and tie certain federal grants to cities that cut local red tape instead of inventing new ways to ticket people.
New York’s economy is built by hustlers, not bureaucrats. Washington should clear the path, not block it.
8. End Legal Loan-Sharking
Twenty-two to thirty-five percent APR is legal loan-sharking. I will push for a federal APR cap, plain-English disclosures, and stronger enforcement against fine-print debt traps, so families keep more of every paycheck and can escape the cycle of stress.
9. Eliminate Federal Income Tax for Individuals Earning Under $200K
A $150K salary in New York buys what $55K does elsewhere. Washington taxes you like you’re rich while you’re barely staying afloat.
I will fight to eliminate federal income tax for individuals earning under $200,000, so New Yorkers can finally save, invest, and breathe again.
10. Modern Nuclear Power for a Real NYC Grid
New York burns more gas than ever because politicians helped kill our biggest clean-energy source. I will push next-generation nuclear projects and fast-track federal approvals where appropriate, so New York City can get constant, affordable electricity without summer brownouts.
New Yorkers get lower bills, cleaner air, and a grid that does not collapse every summer.
11. Hold Judges Accountable
It's the same story over and over agian: violent offenders released, and New Yorkers paying the price. I will push for a Judicial Transparency framework, public data, reporting, and oversight that makes it impossible to hide patterns of catch and release.
When decision-making is visible, and judges are held accountable, criminals will stop treating the system like a revolving door. We need open and transparent data, not shielded by 'politics'. When a judge keeps gifting repeat offenders a free pass to terrorize our city, you should know that judge's name.
12. Crisis Beds and Smart Relocation: Real Help, Not Handouts
Letting mentally ill people rot on the Subway isn't compassion; it's negligence masquerading as virtue. New York needs a program that actually works: more crisis stabilization beds, diversion programs and treatment where appropriate, and a modern version of Bloomberg-style relocation support to reconnect people with stable homes and families.
It ends the endless shelter cycle, saves money, and delivers compassion with results instead of chaos.
13. Clean Streets Block Grants: Restore Basic Order
Cleanliness isn’t cosmetic, it’s a signal that order exists. I will push “Clean Streets” federal block grants that go directly to sanitation capacity and accountable local partners (like BIDs) for power-washing, graffiti removal, the increasing garbage and litter epidemic, and rapid repair of neglected city maintenance.
Fix the grime, fix the vibe, and make it clear the city belongs to the people who live here.
14. Maximum Penalties for Fentanyl Dealers and Distributors
Selling fentanyl that leads to a death isn’t “a drug deal”: it’s murder in effect. I will push legislation to tie federal public-safety funding to a mandatory federal “death resulting” review for every overdose death linked to distribution, with a presumption that prosecutors pursue the “death resulting” enhancement in court. Under federal law, that enhancement carries 20 years to life so traffickers will think twice before killing another New Yorker.
Users deserve treatment and a real chance at recovery. Death peddlers deserve a cell; and knowing traffickers deserve the death penalty themselves.
15. Modern Policing Without Mass Surveillance
I will fund faster response tools, gunshot detection, drone response where appropriate, and real-time mapping, while drawing a hard line on civil liberties. I will introduce a federal ban on dragnet and warrantless facial recognition and surveillance, allowing only targeted use with a warrant, audits, and clear limits. The federal government should not be trusted with your biometrics. We can achieve this with neighborhood and city specific detection measures, allowing law enforcement to respond before violence progresses. Gunshot detection technologies should be installed wherever a report of a shooting was called in. This is a cheap way to prevent violence before it bleeds out, and guarantee that those who bring violence into our neighborhoods and communities are stopped before their actions can progress.
New Yorkers deserve safer streets and faster response without mass surveillance or the loss of basic freedom.
16. Protect IVF and Family Freedom
Courts and politicians should not decide who gets to be a parent. I will fight for ironclad federal protections for IVF and fertility care; this includes medical privacy and coverage safeguards. We need to guarantee New Yorkers’ right to build a family without politicians, lawsuits, or bureaucrats getting in the way.
Your family should be shaped by your life and your doctor, not a political agenda.
At the same time, thousands of children right here in New York are waiting in foster care for a safe, loving, permanent home. Too many of these kids face instability and far too often, abuse in a system that is supposed to protect them. No child deserves that. Outdated rigid national protocols and endless bureaucracy make it nearly impossible for stable homes to adopt while abusive foster families rake in thousands treating each kid like a paycheck.
It’s time to cut the red tape and make properly vetted adoptions easier for qualified families. Let’s prioritize placing our own children, who are already here and need homes now—, local families who are ready to care for them. By streamlining the process, strengthening oversight to prevent abuse, and putting the well-being of children first, we can give more kids the stable, forever families they deserve, right here.
17. Clean Up Congress: Ban Stock Trading & Enact Term Limits
Members of Congress get rich off insider information and turn public service into a lifetime career. I support a full ban on stock trading for politicians and investigations if their family members are suspected of insider trading, and I will cosponsor a Constitutional Amendment for Congressional Term Limits. Congress should be a temporary public service for the public good, not a permanent self-enriching ruling class.
We need to restore trust and end the culture of “public office as a side hustle.”
18. A Real War on Waste
Washington bleeds money through fraud, no-bid contracts, and fake “pilot programs.” They waste your money because they do it in the dark. I will establish an independent board to publish audits in real time of federal spending. We will ban corrupt contractors for life. That includes foreign assistance: every dollar must be audited, results-based, and cut off if it fails.
Your money should fund results, not grifts.
19. Protect Workers and Their Work from AI Exploitation
AI companies have been scraping creative and professional work without consent or compensation. I will push a consent and compensation standard that requires opt-in licensing, clear labeling, and audit trails, with real penalties for unauthorized data harvesting. I will also back worker retention incentives and discourage replacement driven layoffs, so companies stop swapping real people for soulless automation.
Innovation should serve New Yorkers, not erase them.
20. University Accountability: Defund the Bloat
Tuition is up because administrative bloat is up. I will condition federal loans on universities cutting administrative waste, because taxpayers should not be subsidizing six-figure administrators while students drown in debt. If a degree leaves graduates unemployed or underpaid, the public should not be forced to bankroll it. I will push to tie federal loan and grant eligibility to transparent outcomes like graduation rates, job placement, and earnings, so schools cannot keep selling debt traps with no accountability.
If universities want your tax dollars, they should deliver real results and free students from academic scams.
21. End the "Best and Brightest" Scam (H-1B Reform)
Big Tech uses H-1B visas to replace qualified New Yorkers with cheaper labor; Corporate America has turned parts of the visa system into a white-collar replacement pipeline. It's wage suppression, plain and simple. I will push to prioritize top wage tiers for H-1B approvals, crack down on abuse, and end replacement-labor usage so hiring from abroad is a true skills premium, not a discount plan. If they want to hire from abroad, they should pay a premium, not undercut our graduates.
We can grow the economy without selling out our own workforce.
22. Make the MTA Work And Demand Accountability for Congestion Pricing
Washington supplies billions in MTA capital funding, but riders rarely see the benefits. I will tie federal dollars to on-time trains, transparent budgets, and real repairs, and push for competitive partners when the MTA can’t meet basic standards.
Furthermore, I will oppose any future federal waivers or expansions for Congestion Pricing until the MTA passes a full forensic audit. We shouldn't be taxing commuters to bail out a broken bureaucracy. New Yorkers deserve trains that run, stations that are safe, and a transit system that serves the people who depend on it.
23. Mental Health Freedom For Therapeutic Psychedelics
I will remove federal barriers to therapeutic psychedelics, set light and fair rules for regulated access, and direct a share of any federal licensing/fee revenue to veteran care and serious mental health treatment. I’ll also automatically expunge non-violent possession records. Clinical research on psilocybin and ketamine-based treatments shows major promise for depression and addiction.
It’s time for science, freedom, and second chances, not outdated drug-war politics.
24. Digital Bill of Rights: End Data Brokers, Robocalls, and AI Theft
New Yorkers should control their information, not data brokers, spammers, and companies scraping your work without consent.
I will fight for an EU-style privacy standard: one-click opt-out, real consent, serious penalties, and mandatory compensation when AI firms harvest your creative and professional material. Your data and your work are yours.
FIll out the form to be involved in our campaign to put new york first!
