1. Healthcare That Doesn’t Rob You
Twenty-seven percent of New Yorkers skip doctor visits because the system is a scam. PBMs take kickbacks, insurers deny care, and your premiums buy less every year. We will force transparency, cap drug prices, end prior-auth delays, and return every saved dollar to patients, not middlemen.
You deserve a healthcare system that treats you like a human being, not a revenue stream, and we can build it.
2. Unlock Housing Supply for Renters and First-Time Buyers
Starter condos hit 1.5 million dollars while tens of thousands of apartments sit empty. We tie federal housing funds and tax incentives to cracking down on ghost buildings, warehoused units, and long-term vacancies, forcing those apartments back onto the market. And for those ready to buy, we create a $25,000 dollar refundable credit for first-time purchasers of co-ops and condos.
More units on the market means lower rents for everybody, and a real path to owning a piece of New York instead of being locked out by artificial scarcity.
3. Eliminate Federal Income Tax for Households Under $300K
A 150k salary in New York buys what 55k does elsewhere. After rent, essentials, and federal, state, and city taxes, a so-called “$150,000 salary” in NY-12 often leaves a typical renter with under $7,000 at the end of the year optimistically. At $75,000, you’re not building savings at all, you’re juggling bills and often ending the year in debt. That’s unacceptable. Washington acts like you are wealthy while you are barely staying afloat. We need to cut ALL federal taxes for households up to 300k so New Yorkers can finally save, invest, and breathe again.
This is how we rebuild the middle class in the city that once defined it.
4. Modern Nuclear Power for a Real NYC Grid
New York burns more gas than ever because politicians in Albany helped kill our biggest clean energy source. We will restore nuclear power with next-generation reactors, fast-track federal approvals, and prioritize projects that deliver constant, affordable electricity for high-demand regions like New York City.
New Yorkers get lower bills, cleaner air, and a grid that does not collapse every summer.
5. Make Essentials Affordable Again: If Anyone Is Stealing at Self-Checkout, It’s the Government
By the time food hits a Manhattan shelf it has already been taxed, tolled, and marked up five different ways. New Yorkers pay 20 to 40 percent more than the rest of the country and then the government hits you again at checkout. Basic groceries and essentials, dish soap, toilet paper, cleaning supplies. These are not luxuries. They are necessities, yet the government dares to treat them like yet another revenue stream. We need to end all federal taxes on groceries and essential goods. No taxes at the register, and every essential purchase throughout the year should be deducted from your taxable income. At the register you will not see your chicken and asparagus slapped with another nine percent. And during tax season you will receive a direct rebate on the essentials the government never should have touched in the first place.
6. Fix Federal Income Caps That Punish NYC Residents
You lose tax credits and deductions simply for having a New York ZIP code. We’ll raise federal income thresholds fifty to one hundred percent for high-cost cities so the tax code reflects real living expenses.
That means thousands back in your pocket and a federal system that finally recognizes reality.
7. Zero Fees for Small Businesses: Unleash the Hustle
Bodegas, food carts, salons, galleries, and small firms in NY–12 drown in fines, forms, and junk fees. We eliminate or cap federal fees and penalties on small businesses, simplify payroll and licensing rules, and tie federal grants to cities that cut local red tape instead of inventing new ways to ticket people.
New York’s economy is built by hustlers, not by bureaucrats, and Washington should help clear the path, not block it.
8. End Predatory Interest Rates
Twenty-two to thirty-five percent APR is legal loan-sharking. We cap rates, force plain-English disclosures, and stop banks from trapping families in fine-print debt. When we stop the financial predators, New Yorkers keep more of every paycheck and escape the cycle of stress.
9. Crisis Beds and Smart Relocation: Real Help, Not Handouts
New York needs a program that actually works: mandatory treatment, crisis stabilization beds, and a modern version of Bloomberg’s relocation initiative with federal support, including airfare and startup aid to reconnect people with stable homes and families.
It ends the endless shelter cycle, saves tens of thousands per person, and delivers compassion with real results instead of endless tents and chaos.
10. Hold Lenient Judges Accountable
People are being stabbed in the neck, pushed down church steps, shoved in front of trains, and lit on fire by offenders who should never have been released. We’ll create a Judicial Review Board for federal oversight and data transparency on judges who ignore risk assessments and enable violent repeat offenders.
When judges face consequences, criminals stop treating the system like a revolving door, and New Yorkers finally feel safe again.
11. Increased Charges for Fentanyl Dealers and Distributors
Fentanyl dealers know exactly what they are putting into New York communities. When their product causes an overdose, they should face federal murder charges and life sentences. Users deserve treatment, accountability, and a real chance at recovery. Death peddlers deserve to be locked away.
This is how we save lives, protect kids, and restore safety in every neighborhood.
12. Modern Policing Without Mass Surveillance
We fund gunshot detection, drone response, and real-time mapping, with absolute bans on facial recognition and dragnet monitoring.
New Yorkers get faster police response and safer streets without sacrificing civil liberties.
13. Protect IVF and Family Freedom
Courts should not decide who gets to be a parent. We guarantee national protection for IVF and reproductive autonomy.Your family should be shaped by your dreams, not by political fights thousands of miles away.
14. Ban Congressional Stock Trading
Members of Congress get rich off insider information while your rent skyrockets. We ban stock trading for politicians and their immediate families, full stop.
We need to restore trust and end the culture of “public office as a side hustle.”
15. Stop Funding Foreign Governments, Fix New York First
Washington dumps billions into foreign governments while New York’s subways stall, streets crumble, and families struggle. We end automatic foreign aid and stop writing blank checks to Ukraine, Israel, or any country, period.
No more endless wars. No more foreign giveaways. Also, absolutely no punishing companies or schools that choose to do business with Israel or anyone else. Your tax dollars should rebuild our city, strengthen our economy, modernize transit, and protect our waterfront not be turned into handouts or used to coerce private institutions.
16. A Real War on Waste
Washington loses hundreds of billions to fraud, no-bid contracts, and fake “pilot programs.” An independent review board should act to livestream audits, subpoena offenders, and ban corrupt contractors for life.
We reclaim stolen tax dollars and send them back to the people who actually pay the bills, especially here at home.
17. Tariff Checks Back to New Yorkers
If Washington raises tariffs, New Yorkers should not be the collateral damage. Half of tariff revenue should go straight back to families under $300,000 as quarterly rebate checks.Strong trade policy should strengthen your household and our local industries, not just Washington’s balance sheet.
18. Protect Workers and Their Work from AI Exploitation
AI companies have been scraping New Yorkers’ creative and professional work without consent or compensation for too long. We stop unauthorized data harvesting and require AI firms to pay for the material they use. On the same front, companies that keep real workers instead of replacing them with soulless automation will receive federal tax incentives. A “Humans First” platform.
19. End the Federal Gravy Train for Useless Degrees
If a degree leaves seventy percent of graduates unemployed or underpaid, taxpayers should not fund it. We cut off federal loans and grants to scam programs and redirect support to degrees and training that actually pay.
This forces colleges to deliver real results and frees students from academic debt traps.
20. Supercharge Trades and Technical Careers
New York, and the entire country, is facing a severe shortage of essential trade workers: electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, welders, mechanics, builders, and more. We expand trade and technical pathways in every federally funded school, with real incentives like tax credits and targeted loan forgiveness for graduates who enter high-demand fields.
21. $5,000 Trade and Tech Vouchers for Working Americans
No bureaucracy, no maze of forms, just a simple $5,000 national voucher for training, certifications, apprenticeships, or even the tools needed to launch a trade or tech career. We don’t need endless H-1B imports for jobs Americans are fully capable of doing. We need incentives, pathways, and support for our own workforce. Let’s turn ambition into opportunity and opportunity into security.
22. Make the MTA Work for Riders Again
Washington supplies a major share of the MTA’s capital funding, but riders rarely see the benefits. We tie those federal dollars to on-time trains, transparent public budgets, and actual repairs and bring in competitive partners when the MTA can’t meet basic standards. New Yorkers deserve trains that run, stations that are safe, and a transit system that serves the people who depend on it.
23. Legalize Cannabis and Therapeutic Psychedelics with Automatic Expungement
We remove federal barriers to cannabis and therapeutic psychedelics, set light and fair taxation, direct part of the revenue to veteran care and mental health, and automatically expunge non-violent possession records.
It’s time for science, freedom, and second chances, not outdated drug-war politics.
24. End the Data-Broker and Robocall Industrial Complex
New Yorkers should control their information, not data brokers and spammers. We adopt an EU-style privacy standard: one-click opt-out, real consent, and serious penalties for companies that trade your data without permission.
FIll out the form to be involved in our campaign to put new york first!
